Zach Brown is the driving force behind New Reign Capital's LINK Fund I, bringing a decade of commercial insurance industry experience, experise, and a proven track record of private equity investing. After an award-winning college baseball career, he searched and identified the insurance industry through simple Google searches, Zach sold everything he had and rented a car to drive across the country from Indiana to fight his way into the insurance industry in California. Over the next decade Zach started and sold multiple commercial insurance brokerages and built a portfolio of 10 industry companies that went on to be known as New Reign Capital. Throuout those ten years he built and led high-performing teams, navigated complex risk landscapes, and delivered standout results for employers, carriers, TPAs, and vendors.
In 2018, Zach formalized his vision with the Ecosystem Theory - a strategy that interconnects complimentary businesses to amplify growth and efficiency. Through this lens, he founded New Reign Capital and now channels his deep industry insights into LINK Fund I, a $50 million private equity portfolio focused on insurance-tech, claims vendors, and proprietary FinTech solutions. Under his leadership, LINK Fund I applies disciplined deal sourcing, rigorous diversification, and patient capital to unlock value in a historically fragmented market.
